DESOTO — As you walk into the basketball arena at DeSoto High School, you are met by a mammoth trophy case that is packed with all of the district and regional championship trophies the girls basketball team has won. It's more than 15 feet in length. Walk past that and enter the gym and you can see all of the state championship banners hanging from the rafters. They recognize the two titles the DeSoto girls won in 2021 and 2022 and the three championships the boys team won in 2003, 2009 and 2016.
