We are only two weeks into the high school football season. But one big surprise has emerged. So far, District 3-6A has been the best district in the Dallas area in Class 6A or 5A. That is going purely off of the combined record of all of the teams in the district, top to bottom. Teams in 3-6A are 12-4 and have outscored the opposition by 325 points. The eight-team district has five undefeated teams — Crowley, Fort Worth Boswell, Fort Worth Paschal, Hurst L.D. Bell and North Crowley. The only 0-2 team in the district is three-time state champion Euless Trinity, which has lost to state-ranked Prosper and area-ranked Rockwall-Heath by a combined eight points.
