After winning Dallas ISD's first football state title since 1958, South Oak Cliff lost a pair of 1,000-yard rushers, Ke'Undrae Hollywood and Qualon Farrar. Coach Jason Todd isn't worried. He has a four-star Texas A&M pledge ready to step in at running back. Jayvon Thomas is rated the seventh-best cornerback in the nation in the Class of 2023, but he will also play some running back as a senior in addition to starting on defense. He is expected to get double-digit carries every game, Todd said Monday on the first day of practice.
