TEXARKANA, Texas -- Red River Hoopfest is returning to Texarkana this weekend and it promises a full slate of high-level hoops talent from across the country. Red River Hoopfest, powered by Red River Credit Union, will take place Dec. 2-3 at Texas High's Tiger Gym, featuring some of the top-ranked players and teams from the South. This is the second straight year the basketball showcase event has come to the Texarkana area. "It's an opportunity for people in the area to get a chance to see some high-level basketball and for a lot of these kids to be able to see the guys that they see on the SLAM Magazine and Ballislife up close and personal," Said Glenn Smith, president and founder of Hoopfest.
